We offer various options for Bigs and Littles

PINNOVATE DIY STUDIO is Calgary’s newest creative outlet where both Bigs’ and Littles’ can come together and create. Pinnovate provides a comfortable workspace, materials and instructions for an expert or novice crafter to build his or her own DIY project. Our variety of crafts, pallets, painting, string art and splatter room make this an ideal location for children’s gatherings as well as corporate and team building events. Whether you’re looking for a latte from our ROSSO café or a glass of wine with friends, Pinnovate is the place to be. Come visit us today!

KIKI LALLY – CHIEF PINNOVATOR

Hi. I’m Kiki! A born and raised YYC girl who came up with this crazy concept. I was frustrated at the lack of fun activities in our area, so we decided to do something about it! I thought it was about time for suburbia to have a taste of downtown. A place to entertain my 3 Littles’, have a good cup of coffee, a bottle of wine, or a night out with friends. I love a good DIY project and we used to think I was crafty until I met the talented team in here! So here goes nothin’. I do hope you love Pinnovate as much as I do!

KARI ZURBRIGGEN – MANAGER OF OPERATIONS & PINNOVATION

Hi. I’m Kari! I keep Kiki in check 🙂 Being a former business owner myself, I’ve always had the entrepreneurial bug, so when this opportunity came my way I knew I couldn’t pass up on being a part of this amazing adventure! I’m a Pinterest addict, love home decorating and can throw a mean kids birthday party! I’m a full time dance and hockey mom when I’m not full time Pinnovating!

Calgary has needed a space like this for a long time and I am thrilled to share this with you!

JEMMA FAINT – EVENTS/SOCIAL MEDIA PINNOVATOR

Hi I’m Jemma! I’m a full time mom, part time flight attendant and full time Social media lady! When I heard about Pinnovate through the ‘maker’grape vine, there was no question that this was right up my alley! I’m all things local, all things crafty, love weaving, macramé and anything DIY. Our concept is original, our space is amazing, and our beer list is approved by this beer drinking lady! You can find me at the studio, (ofcourse) online, or getting us ready for one of our Pinnovate series workshops!

COURTNEY SKINNER

Hi I’m Courtney our resident Pinnovate Instructor. I love to chat, love wine, love my 2 boys, and love people! I have what feels like a lifetime of instructional experience in a variety of fields and am so excited to design our Pinnovate workshop series! This dream job is something I had never imagined for myself — instructing, gabbing, and getting to make some of the coolest DIY projects I know! I look forward to meeting you all when I instruct one of our modern embroidery or weaving workshops this fall!

KENNEDY HAMLYN

Hi, I’m Kennedy! I am in my last year of Alberta College of Art and design graduating with a major in photography. You’ll probably recognize some of my work on our website or in our digital media pages. After teaching children’s dance at the Heart to Sole Dance Academy for the last 5 years, I joined the fantastic team of creative ladies! I love hosting our birthday paint parties, or coming up with other fun DIY’s for our Littles to enjoy!
