2018…already?! We are already into a new year and we have hit the ground running! Now, we can’t move ahead without paying a little respect to 2017! What more could we say about the past 6 months and all that we’ve accomplished.
Everyone at Pinnovate is extremely proud of our first steps, after all, we are Calgary’s and Canada’s first DIY Studio! That’s a major first step!
Let’s run through a few of our highlights from the past few months, shall we? As you know, we opened in the beautiful community of Auburn Bay/Mahogany. Everyone has welcomed us with open arms and we love getting to know all the wonderful people around us!
In July we started our Monday Funday Camps where we hosted a drop in Littles’ class with pizza, crafts and games; We set aside Sunday’s for Birthday parties, started our first Little’s Arts University session, created some fabulous workshops for Terrarium making and Weaving, partnered with Southcentre Mall to host different crafting events and collaborated with Date Night YYC for some festive fun at Wurst. Let’s not forgot all of the local media love we received! We were featured in an article in Avenue Magazine, established a great partnership with Local Laundry and had the opportunity to be guests of CBC Radio, just to name a few. Whew! That’s a mouthful!
2018 doesn’t see us slowing down either! With one week under our belts we have already successfully finished our School’s Out Winter Camp and hosted many groups for some fabulous project making. January has a packed calendar and we are really excited to share some of our upcoming events!
January 8th, begins our second session of Little’s Art University where your Little Pinnovator will learn about 4 different artists and coordinating artistic projects! Tuesday mornings we are hosting our Little’s for a drop in DIY class and of course Date Nights on Friday and Saturday evenings! We are open late both nights for a perfect night out!
