Join us for an evening celebrating our young artists of 2025 on June 16th at Mahogany Beach Club. Tickets are $10 for all guests with proceeds from this evening will be donated to the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Please note tickets are limited to our event space.
Welcome to emerging arts academy!
Emerging Arts Academy is Calgary’s only full year fine art graduated program. We offer four levels of art education that give children a chance to explore a multitude of different mediums. Our classes are limited in size to provide individualized attention and foster a supportive and creative environment for all children.
Pinnovate classes run twice weekly, with make-up classes available on Fridays when required. The Emerging Arts Academy program is divided into 4 unique levels, each designed to meet the needs of children at different age and skill levels.

Our full year art program is specially designed for our youngest artists aged 4-6 years old, who are just starting to explore their creativity.
Our meticulously crafted curriculum is designed to captivate children while nurturing their love for art while bolstering their confidence and working on fine motor skill and brain development. This years programming includes units focused on clay, watercolour, textile art, abstract pour painting and much more!
Join our intimate class setting with a maximum of 10 children with 2 instructors on hand at all times. All supplies and materials are included.
Class size: 12
Schedule: 60 min class held twice weekly on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday with catchup classes available on Friday.
Time: 4:00pm-5:00pm
Cost: $238/Monthly or Annually $2280 +GST

Year End Art Gala June 17th 2026
The Innovators program is perfect for young creatives aged 7-9 years old, who are eager to take their skills to the next level. Our activities are designed to build strong foundational skills in various mediums with programming crafted to tackle more intricate, multistep art projects with ease and confidence.
This years curriculum includes units focusing on sketching, textured art, foam sculptures, oil pastels, acrylic fundamentals and more.
Class sizes are limited to 16 for this age to ensure ample instruction with this age group with all materials and supplies included.
Class size: 16
Schedule: 60 minute classes are held twice weekly on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday with catch up classes available on Friday.
Time: 4:30pm-5:30pm
Cost: $252/monthly or Annually $2420+GST

Year End Art Gala June 17th, 2026
The Visionaries program is designed for developing artists aged 10-12 who have a creative foundation. With an emphasis on nurturing individual style and expression, this program offers a longer instruction duration in providing 3 hours of weekly art instruction.
Visionaries this year will enjoy a deep dive into more advanced artistic techniques focused primarily on drawing and sketching art fundamentals. These will be supported with other mediums such as oil painting, foam sculpture, principals of design, digital art and more!
This class sizes are limited up to 12 students to ensure ample one on one instruction for group with all materials and supplies included.
Schedule: 90 minute classes are held twice weekly on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday with catch up classes available on Fridays.
Time 5:30pm-7:00pm.
Cost: $389/Monthly or Annually $3785+GST

Experience artistic mastery with our Masters level program, tailored for creative teenagers seeking elevated art education for ages 13+.
This years curriculum and program delivers advanced sketching focused projects throughout the year. Specializing in diverse mediums to broaden artistic horizons offers an elevated art program specifically designed for creative teenagers.
Masters this year will enjoy a variety of units focused on digital arts, sculpture, advanced portrait sketching, oil painting, mixed media and more!
Class Size: 16 students
Schedule: 90 minute classes are held twice weekly on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday with catch up classes available on Fridays.

Our incredible team at Pinnovate is comprised of BA and BFA university graduates who overhead all of our camp days and create carefully curated projects and lessons for all camps. Team Pinnovate is First Aid certified with full CPS Police clearance. Our team of Junior Staff are well trained with our in-house Children’s Programming Protocols as assistants to the instructors throughout the camp day.
Our studio space is divided into 2 separate areas to allow for more individualized attention. Separate studio entrances allows for our students to not be disrupted and have their own creative spaces.
